ALLMACRO.INF, V21 (SRCH10 added)
The following macros, included in ALLMAC21.ZIP have been uploaded
to this BBS, CompuServe IBMAPP, and Exec-PC:
1. PAGE23.ZIP QEdit macros "paginate" documents and QMAC txtfiles so
page break locations can be seen and moved for better readability.
2. MACRO24.ZIP contains QEDIT macros to easily convert macros to & from
text/binary using QMAC:
@1-Loads txtfil from list: @2-Refresh with "standard" mac: @3-Merges
current with designated, reads: @4-Appends txt to "standard" txt &
mac, reads: @5-Gets error file: @6-Makes dummy txt from current:
@7-Makes & reads dummy mac from txt: @8-Reads mac of txt: @9-Makes
mac only: @0-Makes & reads mac: @t/n-Reads macfiles from list by
date/name.
3. FILE12.ZIP QEdit macros allow the user to select files from a
window to either load the txtfile, read the macfile, or delete a file
based on the desired file extension and type of sorting.
4. BOOK13.ZIP BookMarker are a series of four macros to place ()
around selected words in QEdit documents as bookmarks. A bookmark can
then be quickly located from an index of book-marked words (also
prepared with these macros) at the top of the document by pressing
Alt_1. Getting to a desired location in a document or a help file is
almost instantaneous.
5. REFORM15.ZIP contains macros to reformat QEDIT blocks, paragraphs
and documents.Asterisks are also added and deleted in front of lines,
blocks, and paragraphs for commenting.
6. SIZE11.ZIP is a QEdit macro that quickly shows the byte size of
macros added to the end of the macro with an asterisk in column 1.
7. TOGGLE11.ZIP contains macros to toggle Insert and AutoIndent On.
8. GETCOM11.ZIP contains QEdit macros to retrieve from QCONFIG.DAT
a command and it's key. With Alt_0 the command key is displayed in a
window on the screen, then removed. Alt_2 & 3 place the command key
in a single column next to the command. For those of us who can never
remember all the commands and can never find our reference sheet,
this might help.
9. SAVERO10.ZIP macro will save the currently loaded file if the file
attribute on the disk copy is set to Read-Only.
10. SET10.ZIP is a QEdit macro to get a Dos environment variable on the
screen, and then remove it by pressing 'Enter'.
11. QLIST10.ZIP contains a macro that enables QEdit to load a list of
files from a filelist of unlimited length. It may be one of the
broadly most useful macros so far.
12. COLUMN10.ZIP are macros to convert QMAC txtfiles to a single
column of commands for easy viewing.
13. DATEF10.ZIP are QEdit macros that save the current file with the
name either "Mos_Day_Hour_Min.Ext" or "CurrentFileName.Mos_Day". For
example, Alt_0 saves this file as 08191025.inf, and Alt_9 saves it as
e:\up\allmacro.819 when date and time are Sun 08-19-1990 10:25:00.
These may be useful in retrieving previous files which would no
longer normally exist.
14. CENTER10 are QEdit macros to center lines, paragraphs, and entire
documents.
15. SRCH10 are QEdit macros to search/replace only files containing
search text. First, a filelist of files to be searched is made. Only
files in the filelist containing the search text are then loaded
automatically and the desired search/replace is performed. Only files
containing the desired search/replace text are changed and saved.
